Michael Perez has been helping people to overcome problems and improve their performance and their life satisfaction for 3 decades. He uses conversational hypnosis and neurolinguistics as his primary tools to help his clients to affect positive change at a deep unconscious level.
Michael feels that 'coaching', or facilitating people, is at the core of his life's purpose. He is known for being both tenacious and dedicated to helping his clients change their lives for the better.
He's often able to help where previous attempts at coaching or therapy have failed. Michael is well-known as being a 'court of last resort' and helping even 'impossible' clients to get great results.
Michael has worked with athletes to improve their performance and even to break world records.
He's helped world-famous musicians find their 'groove' and helped them to improve their performance and to perform more consistently.
He's helped new entrepreneurs to get into the right strategic mindsets and to build an array of constructive habits to launch successful companies.
And he's helped people who thought their lives would never go back to 'normal' to overcome an entire range of persistent issues like chronic pain, fears, anxieties, melancholy and procrastination.
Michael understands that knowing what to do and doing it are two different things. If people could have already solved their issues easily on their own, they wouldn't be talking to him. But Michael understands that we all need help sometimes. So Michael focuses on creating change at the instinctive, unconscious level, in addition to more cognitive and mindful changes.
Change the instinct, change the automatic response and the rest will follow.
Michael, a teacher and developer in the fields of neurolinguistics and hypnosis, has been a leading voice and creator of new approaches and procedures in NLP. He has worked with some of the most influential people in that field as a mentor and teacher. In this context, Michael is often referred to as a 'walking encyclopaedia' of hypnosis and neurolinguistics.
Michael has learned and created a number of approaches to hypnosis, including spending some 5 years analysing and reproducing the work of Dr. Milton H. Erickson, thought by many to be the most remarkable, effective and innovative hypnotist and therapist of the 20th century. Michael uses much of this unique material in his approach to facilitation.
Since the end of the 1990's, Michael has paid close attention to the revolution in functional neuroscience and what that has revealed about how we function as human beings. These insights have fundamentally changed and improved Michael's understanding of human instincts, thinking and behaviours, an understanding that underlies all of Michael's work to great practical benefit for his clients.
Michael also uses hypnosis himself. Except for his daily hypnotic pain control practice, Michael would be debilitated by chronic pain stemming from osteoarthritis of the spine. Michael not only uses hypnosis to control his pain, he also uses it to increase his ability to walk and live an active lifestyle despite his otherwise-untreatable condition.
Michael is an American living in Europe. He is a former network engineer, sales consultant, manager and corporate trainer, having worked for some of the world's largest and most successful multinational corporations.
Michael is not a doctor; he does not address medical conditions directly nor does he provide medical treatment. Michael's therapeutic work is intended to be complimentary to mainstream medical treatment, if required.
